Break Problem

I need some help with my breaks.

does anyone know how to back down the break pads in th rear to get the drum off?

well i fixed it and now i got it all putt back togeather and now my ebreak works but my normal breaks dont work [img]frown.gif[/img]

On the back of the brake drum you will find a small rubber plug on the top half, remove it and with a long screwdriver push it through and move it up or down on the star wheel to tighten of loosen, as to which way to move it I don't know as I only work with disk brakes as my hands are to big to get in there to work on drum brakes.

Why don't you just get the rear disks setup off an Intrega and be done with it, it's the same setup as the SI and VTEC models use?

By the way what are drum brakes anyway, I haven't seen any since the late 60's? Even my wife's Saturn is four wheel disc brakes. I woudn't have it any other way, 15 minutes max to change each pad set total, that includes removing and putting the tire back on and torquing it to specs. Try that with a drum brake, no way.
